Location Information
Our JunkAppWC driver app collects precise location data (GPS) from drivers’ devices, including while the app is running in the background, in order to:
• Track a driver’s real-time location during an active job
• Provide customers with live tracking
• Support route navigation
Background location access is only active while a driver is on duty and/or has an active job assigned. Location data is transmitted securely to our servers and is used solely for operational and logistics purposes. We do not sell location data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
Drivers can control location permissions through their device settings at any time. Disabling location access may limit the app’s core functionality, including job assignment and live tracking.
Location coordinates are processed in real-time solely to enable live tracking and are not stored in our database.
Data Retention
Location coordinates collected during active jobs are processed in real-time to provide live tracking and job logistics functionality only, and are not stored on our servers or database. We do not retain historical GPS location data. Other personal information (such as account, name, contact, and job details) is retained only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes, or for as long as your account remains active.
Data Deletion
Since we do not store location coordinates, there is no location data to delete. Users can permanently delete their account and associated personal information at any time directly within the app, via account settings. This action is immediate and permanent. Users who are unable to access the app can also request account deletion by contacting us at info@junkapp.co.uk.
